There are two rather disappointing announcements that need to be made at this time too, I think.

-I will be less productive than I have been in the near future. I just started college, and I have a lot more work to do than I've had in the past. I'll do my best to keep on writing, and to stay engaged with fandom, but if something needs to be cut, it won't be schoolwork and it won't be IRL socialization time.

-Until further notice, Blurred Lines and Who You Are (In High School) are on hiatus. When I started both of these fics, I overestimated my interest in the storyline, and my writing ability--in short, I can't handle the plot and number of characters each of these stories addresses. It's very hard to handle subtle character growth in the midst of whole-cast interactions--and the sociology in Blurred Lines? Whooo, way too much for me. It's been one year and four months for one story, and two months less than that for the other, and it's possible that I could push myself to finish them, but I wouldn't find it enjoyable, and more to the point, I would not do a good job writing them. It shows when I'm not interested in a story--that's not something that I can fake very well--and I owe my readers better.

So I'm sorry, but I just can't handle those two fics in particular right now. All other fics will continue to be updated--hopefully sooner rather than later. I have no plans to abandon anything else at this point.

Little Comforts

Series: Transformers, 2007 movie, NOT canon-compliant with RotF, in the same universe as Sheer Dumb Luck--see A/N for more information on this.
Characters/Pairings: Ratchet/Scavenger/(Constructicons), implied but nothing more than cuddling on-screen.
Ratings/Warnings: PG/K+ for safety. Cuddling, slash, not the Constructicons that RotF introduced, implied poly (this goes more for Sheer Dumb Luck).
Summary: A quiet moment with Ratchet and Scavenger--things settling, things becoming more certain. Time spent together.

Author's Notes: Completed oneshot. Takes place in-between chapters nine and ten of Sheer Dumb Luck (which is also available here at FFnet), but happens outside of canon--this is, essentially, a fanfic of my own fanfic. This is an offset of SDL, but it doesn't actually happen in-canon, because that messes with my timeline, and I'm a little crazy like that.

This was written for Neurquadic/neurquadic, as already mentioned, because of the INCREDIBLY AWESOME FANART SHE DREW ME because OMFG for serious it is gorgeous. And she's a pretty darn cool person! :D

Hello everyone!

Some news for you all!

1. I have started work on a collaboration with spotlight_noa, and that's all you get to know for now. It will be posted when we're a little closer to completion. (This is incredible, by the way! And also moderately intimidating--but perhaps I am too easily intimidated? Noa is wonderful, but also in a way a person in fandom that I've looked up to for quite a while--so this is very exciting, but also a little intimidating.)

2. It is summer! I do not have long, but I will spend what time I do have writing! It's all for you, my lovelies.

3. Saw Revenge of the Fallen. There were good bits (THINGS EXPLODE) and bad bits (FUCK YOU, BAY) and bits that can go either way (Constructicons!) and bits that make me angry (...don't get me started on racism, please) and also weird, weird fic-urges and OTPs. Or threes. Or, uh, mores, because y'all know me, right? Right.

4. I am considering discontinuing some fics. I've lost inspiration, and I'm not sure it will ever come back. I really, really hate to do so, but the thought is there. ):

5. I am a nerd. Deeply and truly. This is evidenced by my writing fanfiction. But! It gets worse. I give you ( the fishes that some 2007!characters would keep )

So, in conclusion, yeah. I know. XD

Different Directions
Leaning Away Part 2

Series: Transformers 2007, non-compliant with Revenge of the Fallen.
Ratings/Warnings: T for adult themes and language--nothing particularly heavy. Eventual Transformer/human pairing, but that's a hundred pages away at this point. Literally. Original character(s).
Characters/Pairings: Centered on Starscream and Hope, an original character. Eventually romance, but not for quite some time.

Summary: It had started as an experiment: Starscream needed a human subject to observe and then manipulate. Somehow, things went wrong. He wasn't supposed to get attached. And he didn't care about the thing. Really.
Hope had thought of herself as average until she was nearly killed, twice, by a giant space alien robot who had pretended to befriend her. And then, after that, things got weird. Could she trust him? Probably not. But would she? Maybe.
